A Visit To
REMEMBER

Our ethos is simple - we care! A stay at Evangelisa means discovering a home from home in the heart of Wales.

Situated on Lampeter High Street at number thirty, our Grade II listed double fronted property is a beautiful example of the Georgian stone home. We are an adult only B&B and we've put a lot of thought into our rooms, their styling and facilities, hoping to ensure you have everything you need, and each one reflects a different aspect of this proud nation. A day at Evangelisa starts with a hearty breakfast, with a traditional Welsh menu including laverbread and Penclawdd cockles or a fry-up of your choice with vegetarian and vegan options too. We are passionate about supporting our surrounding local businesses and suppliers to find you the best local produce we can.

On our doorstep we have the university campus, housed in the incredible 1822 St David's College building, the Welsh Quilt Centre, the Dylan Thomas trails and Lampeter is famed as the home of Welsh Rugby! We're ideally situated to explore all that Wales has to offer. From the stunning Pembrokeshire coastline, sandy beaches at New Quay, Llangrannog and with the picturesque harbour village of Aberaeron only twenty minutes away, to the rugged and awe-inspiring mountains of Wales. Lampeter is situated in the westerly region of the Cambrian Mountain range, with the edge of the Brecon Beacons to the Southeast and Snowdonia to the North.

We love where we live! A special place to be, the way of life here is an incredibly peaceful one. We are more than a bed and breakfast and hope to share the charm and inspiration of Ceredigion in a more meaningful way. At Evangelisa you can enjoy the break you deserve and return home with so much more than just a lovely memory!

We very much look forward to welcoming you,

Angela & Nigel

ACCESSIBILITY

Evangelisa is a Grade II listed 3-storey Georgian terraced town house with no lifts and is accessed on street level from the pavement. The breakfast lounge is on the ground floor. We have one double, one single and two king rooms, all en-suite with walk-in showers. Our 1st-floor single room is accessed from the ground floor by a staircase of 13 stairs and our double room is also on the 1st floor with 4 additional stairs from the low to mid landing. Our king rooms are accessed via an additional staircase of 2 flights consisting of 9 and 6 stairs. Corridors are wide and there are lower ceilings and doorways on the top floor of the house.

We currently do not have any ground floor rooms and no lift. For our guests with limited mobility we would suggest our Pembroke double room on the first floor is best suited. There is a single step up to the ensuite shower room, therefore, we have fitted a grab rail on the door frame and can also provide a half step to make accessing the bathroom, especially at night, a little easier.

Car parking is on-street or at the nearby pay-and-display car park. Parking bays directly outside Evangelisa are restricted to one-hour parking between 9:00am and 6:00pm Monday to Saturday and there is also one public disabled parking bay within the restriction. In a short distance of approximately 150 metres, there is limited free on-street parking and the pay-and-display car park is within 200 metres.
